Through their low-threshold trading activities, they want to give new entrepreneurs a soft start in the center of Kristiansund.

Led by activity creator Tom Godtland, the company acts as a catalyst to bring attractive city life back to the streets and squares.

• ByBETA Landhandel: An innovative coworking and micro center in the middle of Gågata. Here, entrepreneurs and start-ups get an affordable and flexible entry into the market - whether it's via a permanent office space, a small shop corner or a pop-up sales solution for short periods. Imagine a creative micro environment where networking happens organically, and where you can grow at your own pace​

• Premises arrangement: Through collaboration with landowners, the company has a full overview of available premises in the city center – from shops and restaurants to offices. They help entrepreneurs with viewings, contact with owners and adaptation of premises, so you find the perfect match in both size and neighborhood.
   

• Events and city life: Sentrum Utvikling is also the brains behind several popular city events – such as Nordmørsk Street Festival, Snadderfestivalen, Oktoberfestivalen and Christmas market. They also reinforce existing cultural offerings such as Operafestukene, Tahiti Festival, Klippfiskdagene and Festspillene Kristiansund.
   

• New impetus after stagnation: After a period of moving out of the city center and the pedestrian street, the company has been central to the turnaround. In the last six months, it has brought in 4–5 new businesses. This coincides with the opening of Campus Kristiansund and the Normoria cultural center – a breath of fresh air that has amplified the effect of their work.
