How BETA started
“Home office away from home” was the idea and concept when BETA was started by a group of entrepreneurs in the mountain village of Vågå in the north of Gudbrandsdalen, in 2016.
The common denominator was that everyone worked in creative industries, everyone worked for themselves, and everyone wanted to get out of the "hidden office" and become part of a community a little bigger than themselves.
At BETA we worked in our own companies, but shared experience and knowledge, made contacts and customers, created creative ideas and solutions. On projects that required complex expertise, we often worked together.
And sharing, contacts, ideas and solutions led BETA forward.
Just as the sprout grows and sprouts, blossoms and spreads seeds, so BETA grew, blossomed and sowed new seeds in the fjord village of Halsa, in the far west of Heim municipality in Northwest Norway.
How we work
At BETA, coworking works so that you work for yourself when it suits you, and collaborate with other people and professional expertise under the same roof when needed.
The bonus is a social working environment, continuous professional replenishment and updates, as well as access to a far larger customer base than you would have alone.
